Impartiality and the Gentiles Project
Topic: Impartiality Passage: Acts 10:30–10:35
When Peter received the vision with the unclean animals, and he was shocked that God would invite him to eat unclean animals. But God’s purpose was greater than a simple vision. He was revealing to Peter that the gospel message, and salvation, were intended to reach every person in the world. That purpose included the Gentiles, and Cornelius house would be Peter’s baptism into God’s mystery that the Gentiles would be heirs together with the Jews in the blessings of the kingdom. Peter’s response at the end of the experience was that he had finally realized that God “shows no partiality.
